4 Hour Basic Welding Skills and make a project

Skills you will learn :

You will complete the 3 hour basic welding skills course, then spend 1 hour working on a project

  • basics of MIG Welding
  • process, identification, technology of welding
  • OHS and safety
  • practice deposit of welds using different techniques
  • weld pre-cut steel pieces together to make a project
  • the project will be simple (materials are provided)

Our classes allow the student to choose a simple project to make. The trainer will confirm with the student the type of project beforehand, something which can be made within 1 hour

What you will need :

  • safety boots (no runners)
  • long pants and long sleeve clothing (either cotton drill or denim)

What we supply :

  • Welders, Gas, Consumables and Materials
  • OHS and safety equipment
  • Welding helmet, welding gloves, safety glasses, aprons (these are cleaned after every use), you are welcome to bring your own.   
* We recommend Dandy Gas for welding equipment
