Are you a handy person, builder, tradie, hobbyist, a sculptor or artist, engineer or landscape designer who wants to learn the basics of welding?

Do you need to learn to weld to get an entry level job?

Are you required to be a qualified welder before working on construction sites or on vehicles? 

At IQMAN Welding School we offer classes in welding for all levels from beginners to welder qualifications. Our classes are small (max 4 people) and we offer a range of classes from basic welding in MIG, STICK and TIG. We also have specialised classes including – make a project, welding for women and welding for students. Our classes are suited to beginners or for those more advanced.

What a fantastic course!, I have never used a welder in my life and Peter was brilliant at explaining how even the basic things worked- by the end of the class i was feeling confident to use MIG on my own and getting some pretty decent welds ( for a beginner).

Went back to IQ for second session thought I learnt a lot on the first night. Had no idea how much more I could learn on the second night. Am hooked on learning to weld properly. I have found Learning with an instructor rather than just playing around with a welder at home, I have become quite happy with my progress and understanding how and why’s of welding. Look out Peter ‘I’ll be back’ looking forward to the next class and even further. Top job thanks

Peter is a really good teacher with a wealth of experience. He has a great set up and caters for individual needs. The atmosphere is casual and friendly but doesn't compromise safety. Everything is explained carefully and clearly and Peter gives plenty of opportunities to ask questions. I had an excellent experience at IQMAN Welding School. The workshop setup is great. Peter is an excellent teacher. He teaches you how to set up the machine and then how to adjust it for difference thicknesses. But instead of just telling you what to do he teaches you to work through getting the right settings so that you are able to troubleshoot and work out the solution yourself. This gives you the confidence to practice at home with the skills you have learned. Peter was great with working around my physical limitations and helped me find the best positions to weld in that didn't affect my hip replacements.

Why didn't I do this sooner. I've been messing about in the shed, watching youtube, getting tips from mates but nothing compares to real world training with a no fuss very informative trainer like Peter. Very helpful, patient and knowledgeable. I can't believe how much 3 short hours taught me. I'll be tackling all those welding jobs with confidence now. Thanks Peter, great job teaching and old sort like me. Completely opened my eyes to welding.
